BCA is a trade association which acts as a collective voice for businesses large and small operating in the chemicals industry, wherever they sit in the supply chain and whatever their special interests.

How we support our members

We represent our members’ interests through engagement with government and other stakeholders in the industry at both UK and EU levels. As well as working to shape the regulatory landscape, we support our members by providing information on developments in chemicals legislation plus seminars and courses for staff development. We encourage growth and innovation and champion a thriving chemicals industry.

WMSoc Summer Event - Changing for the Better

BCA will be participating at this year's WMSoc summer event in Birmingham on June 3, 2026.

2026 will see the introduction of several new guidance documents as well as changes to some existing partnerships within the industry. This event will be at the forefront of their wider release and will be pivotal to understanding what subsequent changes will be required. The subject matter will be presented by those people directly involved in their development and there will be ample opportunity to ask them questions.
