BCA is a trade association which acts as a collective voice for businesses large and small operating in the chemicals industry, wherever they sit in the supply chain and whatever their special interests.

How we support our members

We represent our members’ interests through engagement with government and other stakeholders in the industry at both UK and EU levels. As well as working to shape the regulatory landscape, we support our members by providing information on developments in chemicals legislation plus seminars and courses for staff development. We encourage growth and innovation and champion a thriving chemicals industry.

WMSoc Summer Event

WMSoc Summer Event - Are Counter Measures Counter Productive?

This event emphasises the importance of competent design, risk assessment, validation and verification when choosing and implementing controls. This needs to be considered from water supply through to final delivery and there is no one size fits all approach, especially when considering low carbon or other design “solutions” which are intended to improve water quality.
